Zoogamma S.p.A. is an important player in the agri-food sector, established in 1979, which today has 200 employees and several production sites in Italy.
The head office is located in Ghedi (BS) and belongs to the Dutch Van Drie Group. Zoogamma S.p.A. is a leader in Italy in the white meat calf feed sector and in the production of whey powder. At the Ghedi plant, in two dedicated plants, the production of milk-based feeds and fibre-based feeds takes place.
The Casalbuttano plant, where whey powder and milk powder are produced, represents the main Italian site for the production of milk derivatives.
During 2019, the fourth drying tower went into operation, which enabled the plant to obtain authorisation for the production of whey for the human food market.
The Canedole di Roverbella (MN) plant is involved in the production of a liquid feed, mainly based on whey, which is sent directly to white meat calf farms. The Serum plant (Cazzago San Martino), which is active in the production of WPC80, which is a component of sports nutrition, was also acquired.

Over the last few years, Zoogamma has significantly increased its production also thanks to the turnkey plants supplied by its international partners.

In 2014, Zoogamma decided to evaluate new valve suppliers capable of effectively meeting all the new requirements in this area and the choice fell on Bardiani Valvole, whose products were exclusively implemented in the new drying tower that went into operation in 2019. Bardiani’s solutions were used in all areas of processing within the site, starting from the reception of the raw material to obtaining the finished product in the drying tower, passing through the various intermediate stages: crystallisers, evaporators and washing CIP.

Bardiani Valvole was immediately open to dialogue , and thus began a collaboration that fully satisfied both parties and continues to this day.

This partnership has since been extended to the other companies of the Van Drie Group.

Thanks to the collaboration with Bardiani Valvole, Zoogamma was able to take advantage of a series of valves designed ad hoc according to its needs: these products were customised by means of the tag number visible on the surface, a feature that greatly simplified the work of the pipefitters and fitters responsible for the installation.

Bardiani Valvole also provided maximum support in the choice of valve models for very specific uses, such as modulating valves. While, for more complex solutions, Zoogamma purchased and received from Bardiani Valvole pre-assembled valves clusters, guaranteeing considerable savings in time and resources.

Bardiani valves have an undoubted advantage: they allow you to comply with all the hygienic requirements to which your system must conform.
Bardiani Valvole’s assistance does not end with the delivery of valves, but continues with a wide range of  services. In particular, Zoogamma has benefited from a service that provides training for some of the company’s maintenance technicians, who have thus been able to attend a product training course at Bardiani’s workshops in order to obtain all the information necessary to maintain the valve components quickly and safely.
The supply of spare parts by Bardiani also takes place very quickly, with original spare parts ready in stock.

An ambitious expansion is currently underway at the Serum Italia site, involving the construction of a new section of the plant, with new receiving tanks, a new concentrator, new crystallisers, a new multi-product spray tower and the entire ancillary services section. The state-of-the-art technology of Bardiani valves will also be implemented in this new section.
