An American Bio-pharma Company was seeking an advanced solution for preparing aqueous reagent solutions used in laboratory tests. The primary objective was to ensure maximum hygiene and prevent any risk of contamination, particularly after CIP/SIP (Cleaning In Place) processes and right before starting production again.

Bardiani Valves proposed the B915 PMO leak free mixproof double seat valve, specifically designed to offer complete cleaning and simple management without the need for any external auxiliary line.

 

The B915 PMO mixproof valve stands out for the following advantages:

  • Complete Cleaning of the Lower body: During the lower lift, the valve cleans not only the internal part of the lower body (body, shutter, seat, o-ring, chamber, and drainage channel) but also the external surface of the lower shutter stem, ensuring complete and residue-free cleaning.
  • Simplicity and Effective Management: The solution is simple and easily manageable without the need for external auxiliary lines, reducing operational complexity.
  • Inspectability and Validability: The valve can be inspected at any time (compliant with 3A standards) and validated with a swab near the seat, ensuring maximum transparency and process safety.
  • Product Expulsion in Case of Leakage: In case of leakage, the product is expelled, allowing the batch to be completed without risk of bacterial contamination.
